Gifted Referrals

Our first and second grade students will participate in massing screening for the gifted program on January 10th - 12th (2018).  The students that score in the 90%ile or higher will continue in the referral process. We will accept individual referrals from January 15th- January 31st.  Parents, teachers, and other students may refer a student in grades 1st -5th for screening.  If you would like to refer a student for gifted screening, please contact the administrator at your child's school or the Gifted Coordinator, Kelli McCorkle (938-6418). (Note:  We will not take individual referrals for 1st and 2nd grade students until after mass screening.) The PGSD will not screen and/or test students that have been tested two times previously and were ineligible for gifted services.
