Thank you for your interest in a career with the Pascagoula-Gautier School District!  

The procedures outlined below will assist you in the process of applying to become a member of our educational support team.

 

State of MS requirements for Assistant Teacher, Computer Lab Assistant, ISI Monitor and Behavior Facilitator Applicants:

Must meet one of the following qualifications in order to be considered for employment:

  •       Must possess at minimum, an Associates Degree; OR
  •       Must have a minimum of 48 earned college hours on an official transcript; OR
  •       Must provide passing scores for the following WorkKeys tests: Applied Math (4), Workplace Documents (4) and Business Writing (4).  A minimum SILVER Certificate must be held to meet requirement.

 

Pre-K Assistant Teachers are as follows:

Must meet one of the following qualifications in order to be considered for employment:

  •       Early Childhood Associate's Degree; OR
  •       Associate's Degree OR 60 College Credit Hours AND 12 early childhood college credit hours or Completion of an early childhood training program; OR 
  •       High School Diploma/GED AND Verification of WorkKeys Scores (see above) AND 12 early childhood college credit hours or completion of an early childhood training program
