Our mission is to inspire each student to become a problem solver, lifelong learner, and productive member of society. By offering extensive opportunities to each student in their least restrictive environment, we are able to fulfill this goal as outlined in each eligible student's Individualized Education Plan.
Special Education Mission Statement
The Pascagoula School District offers a full continuum of services for students with disabilities. Eligible students from ages three through twenty-one are served in our school district. Qualified teachers, therapists, and trained support personnel strive to offer the most appropriate programs for each student. We are continuing to expand the special education programs to meet the wide variety of student needs. Our staff attend conferences and workshops to learn and implement the current trends in Special Education.
