About Us

The Pascagoula-Gautier District (PGSD), located in the southeast corner of Mississippi and between the cities of Gulfport / Biloxi and Mobile, Alabama, is a public school district that houses approximately 6,500 students in 19 elementary (K-4), academy (5-6), middle school (7-8), high school (9-12), and specialty school campuses that serve the cities of Gautier and Pascagoula, Mississippi.

PGSD, established in 1912, employs over 1,100 teachers, administrators, instructional and other support personnel.

PGSD has an A rating from the Mississippi Department of Education Office of Accreditation.
