The Pascagoula-Gautier School District makes school assignments considering the geographic's of residency and size of classes at the time of enrollment. Every effort is made to keep the environment highly conducive to learning given the student/teacher ratio.

 

ActiveParent Portal

Everyone must verify residency. 

All students must have a certified birth certificate and Mississippi State Immunization 121 form. An updated 121 form is needed for all 7th grade students.

You will need to upload two proofs of residence into ActiveParent when registering your student. Proof of residency must be two of any of the following:

  • filed homestead exemption form, mortgage document or property deed
  • apartment or home lease (parent/guardian's name has to be on apartment lease)
  • utility bills within the last 30 days
  • driver's license (cannot be expired)
  • vehicle registration

Only a parent or legal guardian may enroll their student.

  • A list of all schools can be found under the "About Us" section of the “Our District” tab on the PGSD website. Click here for an alphabetical list of schools.

  • Click on the School Zone Locator, read the disclaimer, press "enter" and then type in your address to see the schools that serve your address. The web-based school locator page is provided as a fast-reference service. It is very important that you contact the schools it lists to ensure that the information is indeed correct.

  • To enroll a student in the Pascagoula-Gautier School District, you must have legal custody of the student. The enrolling guardian/custodian shall reside in the attendance zone in which enrollment is sought. The student being enrolled must actually reside with his/her guardian/custodian.

    In addition to the matters noted in the preceding paragraph, it shall be the sole duty and responsibility of the enrolling guardian/custodian to provide all documentation otherwise required by the Pascagoula-Gautier School District as a prerequisite to enrollment.

  • Children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2026

  • Children who will be six years old on or before September 1, 2026

    1. Use the School Zone Locator to determine which school your child will attend. 
    2. Contact the school registrar to receive an ActiveCode for your student. 
    3. Visit Visit http://psd.activeparent.net AND login in or create an account using parent/guardian information.
      • Click top left box with plus sign for online registration.
      • Select: Have a code to enter? Click here.
      • Enter your student’s 12 digit ActiveCode.
      • Redeem Code. This code will tie your student to your account.
      • Find your student in the dropdown box and begin registration.
    4. Start the registration process by following the directions as you navigate through the site. Complete all requested items.
  • The online registration process is designed for family use. You may register all your students at one time with the same parent login.

  • You may register all of your returning or new students regardless of the school(s) they attend through the ActiveParent portal.

  • ActiveParent is the online software used by Pascagoula-Gautier School District to register students for school and to check thier grades . It's designed to make the registration process easier and more convenient for parents/guardians. 

  • How do I create a ActiveParent Account?

    1. Go to PGSD’s ActiveParent website link
    2. Click on "Create an Account."
    3. Enter your name
    4. Enter your address
    5. Enter your phone number
    6. Enter your email address
    7. Enter a User Name (we suggest you use your email address as your username)
    8. Create a password.
    9. Click on Create User button.
    10. Click to create your account.
  • If you have any difficulties while registering your student, please contact your student's school directly. Their staff will be able to provide the help you need.
